Mike joined Howard Wright at the age of 17 almost 40 years ago and his goal then was the same as it is now to provide first class advice to our clients and their families.
As the business owner Mike also wanted to ensure that the same career opportunities that he had are available for everyone working at Howard Wright today.
You can see from the profiles and the positions held within the business that this has certainly been achieved. The Howard Wright team is young, dynamic and highly qualified.
With this level of succession planning in place, Mike has succeeded in creating a business that will service our clients and their families for many generations to come.
Mike’s main focus is now developing the business further and is always open to new opportunities. Outside of the office Mike enjoys a round of golf and spending time with his family.
Managing Director Chartered Financial Planner FPFS BSc (Hons) Cert SMP
Gareth has been with Howard Wright since 2002. Initially Gareth joined as an undergraduate from Aston University and then made the decision to join Howard Wright permanently as soon as he had graduated.
Gareth is a Fellow, the highest qualification in the industry. He also chairs our investment committee and played a key role in the development of our investment proposition.
Gareth has been Instrumental within so many areas of the business and was made Managing Director in 2015.
Outside the office Gareth enjoys spending time with his family and watching his beloved Barcelona FC.
Operations Director Chartered Financial Planner APFS (Hons) Certs CII (MP & ER)
Natalie joined Howard Wright in 2001 as an undergraduate from Aston University and is the trailblazer for every undergraduate, graduate and apprentice joining our team.
This set a precedent within our business and the creation of our training programme of which we are very proud of.
Natalie plays a key part in the day to day management of the business, whilst servicing both private and corporate clients. Natalie is a Chartered Financial Planner and our Operations Director.
Outside of work Natalie loves to spend time with her daughter and also enjoys long walks in the Shropshire hills.
Jo has always been a key part of Howard Wright, working alongside Mike and the team to build the business to where it is today.
Business development has always been a priority for Jo ensuring that Howard Wright continues to grow and develop for many years to come.
Jo is also responsible for managing the Howard Wright Apprenticeship Scheme ensuring that there is a clear career path and a constantly developing team for future generations to come.
Away from the office Jo is also involved with many other projects from organising events, live production and the annual film festival at BAFTA.
Jo has a love for running and can be found coaching young athletes at Wolverhampton & Bilston Athletics Club.

Ashley joined the team in 2010, since then he has worked his way up through the ranks of the business to become a Senior Consultant and qualified to the level of a Chartered Financial Planner within 5 years.
Ashley is also a member of our investment Committee, he works alongside our team to constantly develop the portfolios.
Ashley has a varied portfolio of Clients looking after both Private and Corporate. A new challenge for Ashley has been business development which he has really enjoyed.
In his spare time Ashley enjoys being with his family and working on his fitness in the gym.

Stephen joined the team in 2009 as an undergraduate from Nottingham Trent University. Stephen then returned to Howard Wright as part of our Trainee Consultant programme.
Stephen certainly didn’t shy away from exams and has risen to the position of Senior Consultant and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Stephen is loved by his clients and the team, he is also one of our Will Writers and works on our investment committee. Stephen’s main job role is providing ongoing advice to our Corporate and Private Clients.
Outside of work Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and improving his golf handicap.
Office Manager Consultant DipPFS Cert CII (MP)
Liva joined the team in 2014 as an apprentice and has progressed from Administrator, Para-planner and to her most recent promotion, Office Manager.
Liva provides support to our admin team aswell as our Consultants and will now take on the responsibility of training and management.
Liva is also a member of our Investment Committee.
In her spare time she enjoys perfecting her own recipes and travelling to see as much of the world as she can.
Consultant DipPFS Cert CII (MP)
Adam joined the Howard Wright team in 2012 and has developed his skills over the years to become a Consultant.
Adam’s goals are to further develop his skills and analysis, provide new opportunities and to develop and service our Corporate Clients.
Adam is also a member of our investment Committee and is a fully qualified Will Writer.
Outside of work you will often see Adam at the Molineux supporting his team Wolverhampton Wanderers or with his three Cocker Spaniels.
Marketing / Business Development
Tom joined the team in 2016 as an apprentice to study Business development and Administration.
Since completing his Apprenticeship, Tom’s job role is now focused on Business development and Marketing. Tom really enjoys the marketing side of the business, finding new Clients and seeing how our advice changes clients lives for the better.
Outside of the office you will find Tom either at the Molineux or playing gigs throughout the West Midlands.
Consultant BA (Hons) DipPFS Cert CII (MP)
Will joined Howard Wright in 2017 as an apprentice and as part of the administration team.
Will is now focused on his exams and is working towards becoming a Chartered Consultant.
Outside the office Will enjoys cooking and regularly partakes in tough mudders.
Accounts Manager Cert Ed BA (Hons) MA
Angela joined the team in 2004 after working in higher education. Ange’s primary role is managing the accounts, payroll and analysis.
Outside of work Angela loves to keep active through her swimming and gardening.
Romana has been with Howard Wright since 2007, as part of our administration team with her goal of a paperless office getting ever nearer.
Outside of work Romana enjoys travelling especially discovering the English countryside through her love of walking and hiking.
Abi joined the team in 2017 as an apprentice and as part of the administration team. Since completing her apprenticeship Abi now works alongside our Consultants and is studying for her next level of exams.
In Abi’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jenny has been at Howard Wright since 1994, working in our administration department providing support to our Consultants.
Outside of work Jenny enjoys spending time with her family who all have a passion for cricket, spending lots of time at Codsall Cricket Club and county competitions.
